Job Summary
Supervise, inspect, and troubleshoot major aircraft structural repairs for F15 skins, panels, and components made of plastic, fiberglass, and metal. Fabricate aircraft tubing from diagrams, perform in-shop modifications on radomes and flight control surfaces, and execute flight-line repairs ranging from screw removal to cracked skin fixes. Polish canopy fairings and windscreen surfaces while operating fabrication equipment and using precision measuring devices to assess damage. Execute TCTO modifications on various equipment within specified time constraints. This ITAR-approved program offers shared accommodations, transportation, and comprehensive medical benefits at various locations throughout the Kingdom.
Required Qualifications
- experience in basic aircraft structural repairs and modification
- ability to read and work from aircraft structural blueprints
- skills in fabrication of aircraft tubing and perma-swedge repairs
- ability to operate and maintain in shop fabrication equipment
- ability to repair and polish canopy surfaces
- ability to use precision measuring devices
- high mathematical ability
- ability to accurately assess damage and repair action
- ability to perform any structural TCTO modification within specified time constraints
- knowledge of sealants and adhesives
