Job Summary
Patrol the facility, observe clients, and deescalate incidents while maintaining a firm, calm presence. Direct and control crowds in indoor settings, adhering strictly to fire safety protocols and emergency procedures. This Full-Time role requires a valid F02 Fire Guard certificate and NYS Security Guard License. Required Qualifications
- Valid F02 Fire Guard certificate issued by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY)
- Strong understanding of fire safety principles and regulations
- Ability to direct and control a crowd in an indoor setting
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately
- Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Fire Guard for Shelters F02
- NYS Security Guard License
