Job Summary
Patrol assigned areas ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and the public while monitoring client premises for unusual or suspicious activity. De-escalate conflicts and disturbances using sound judgment and effective communication skills, providing exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and the general public. Perform physical tasks including standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Adhere to all post orders, site rules, and legal requirements. This Full-Time Fire Guard for Shelters position requires a NYS Security Guard License.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Fire Guard for Shelters F02
- NYS Security Guard License
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to climb stairs/ramps/ladders
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to perform physical tasks
