Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat mental health disorders, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan in an outpatient clinic. Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management. Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record; ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations. Required Qualifications
- Current Florida APRN license in good standing
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
