Job Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving issues and facilitating requirements to enhance the company's position in existing and target accounts. Develop and execute a plan to grow revenue by analyzing opportunities, identifying key personnel, and developing strong business relationships. Create territory management plans to maximize time with customers while conducting product demonstrations and presentations. Prepare quotes and customer correspondences, utilizing online resources to maintain accurate records of calls, customer files, and activity information. Prioritize critical tasks, schedule work in coordination with peers and clients, and partner with designated representatives on calls for assigned accounts. Discuss activities with your manager to ensure a consistent customer experience and appropriate transaction processing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- 1+ years of industry-specific experience
- Self-starter with the ability to seek opportunities to go above and beyond job requirements to achieve stated goals and objectives
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage customers in a consultative manner and effectively recommend additional products and services
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, internet research and web based presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function as a solid team player and work closely with teammates, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experience
- Ability to take independent action, implement innovative ideas or potential solutions without prompting; does not wait for others to take action or to request action
