Job Summary
Lead the Facilities and Estates function across all operational sites, ensuring buildings, infrastructure, and grounds remain safe, compliant, and capable of supporting current and future requirements. Manage estate-related contracts and supplier performance while overseeing compliance, governance, and major organisational projects. Drive effective asset management through D365, using data and reporting to improve maintenance and operational performance. Build strong relationships with senior leaders, operational teams, and external partners to ensure services are delivered effectively and sustainably. Lead, inspire, and develop the team through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. This role works closely with Operations, Asset Management, HSQE, Procurement, Finance, and HR to align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification/experience
- Proven experience in Facilities, Estates or Contract Management within a complex operational environment
- Demonstrable experience leading in-house teams and managing contractors, supplier performance and service delivery against KPIs
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance, RAMS, permits, risk assessments and audit requirements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and budgets
- Proficiency in D365 or a similar CAFM/EAM system, with experience using data and reporting to drive operational performance
Desired Qualifications
- IWFM qualification or a relevant Facilities, Estates, Property or Management qualification
