F&B Shift Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant operations at Café 54, Ayily Bar, and Menyikish Bar & Grill by supervising team members, training new hires on company standards, and ensuring a safe, productive workplace. Implement departmental processes, monitor staff arrivals, and address guest concerns regarding food, beverage, or team interactions. Complete payroll responsibilities, issue evaluations, and manage corrective actions while maintaining integrity and promoting company culture. Handle scheduling conflicts to ensure adequate staffing and recognize outstanding team members. Requires high school diploma, three years of F&B management experience, and valid Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Server certifications. Open to weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an F&B management role
- Must have and maintain a valid Food Handlers Certification
- Must have and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Server Certification
- Must be able and willing to obtain a ServSafe Manager Certification within 30 days of employment
- Must have open availability to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts
- Ability to work in the standing position for hours at a time
- Ability to complete sedentary work as needed
- Light work exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently
- Occasional bending, crouching, squatting, balancing, reaching above head, reaching above shoulder, and twisting at waist
- Manages stress appropriately
- Makes decisions under pressure
- Manages anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately
- Regular multi-tasking
