Job Summary
Oversee a team of employees including hiring, development, scheduling, and training to ensure a positive working environment. Maintain high standards of guest service, safety, and cleanliness while resolving issues and exemplifying company culture. Handle daily cash deposits and open or close the restaurant, securing cash, liquor, and entry points. Assist with kitchen prep, plating, and special events as needed. Greet guests warmly, check out staff at shift end, and ensure dining tables are properly prepared. Communicate current menu choices, specials, and deviations to staff. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions immediately. Ensure team uniforms are neat and grooming standards are followed. Anticipate and address guests' service needs while maintaining professional relationships. Requires three years of prior leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, proper food safety certification, and flexibility to work varied days, shifts, and holidays. Salary range is $60k-$70k annually.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of prior leadership experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and work with minimum supervision
- Reliable attendance with the flexibility to work varied days and shift as well as holidays
- Proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- Experience working with computers (MS Office/Google), POS systems, and reservations software
- Must have some familiarity of basic cooking skills
