Job Summary
Oversee a team of employees including hiring, development, scheduling, and training while ensuring a positive working environment. Maintain high standards of guest service, safety, and cleanliness by resolving issues, exemplifying culture, and greeting all guests warmly. Manage daily operations by properly handling cash deposits, opening or closing the restaurant, securing assets, and assisting with prep work or plating to ensure dish quality. Assign service-related tasks to servers, check out staff at shift end, bus tables, and ensure dining tables are properly prepared. Communicate current menu choices, specials, and deviations to staff, check out servers and bartenders, and assist with special events as needed. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions immediately. Ensure team members' uniforms are neat and professional, and that grooming standards are followed. Anticipate and address guests' service needs while maintaining positive working relationships. Requires three years of prior leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, proper food safety training, and familiarity with POS systems and reservations software. Full-time role in Longmont, CO with a salary of $60,000 - $68,000 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable attendance with the flexibility to work varied days and shift as well as holidays
- Proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- Must have some familiarity of basic cooking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of prior leadership experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and work with minimum supervision
- Experience working with computers (MS Office/Google), POS systems, and reservations software
