Job Summary
Greet guests, deliver food and beverage orders, and process payments while maintaining accurate POS records and upholding cash handling procedures. Ensure all guests have appropriate utensils and sides, answer menu questions regarding ingredients and preparations, and verify age for alcohol service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, stock service stations, and perform inventory checks as assigned. Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and complete assigned prep and cleaning tasks during off-peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain current Food Handler certifications required per state law
- Ability to comply with physical demands as outlined below
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service establishment preferred but not mandatory
- Completion of state Alcohol training preferred
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with basic food knowledge
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
