Job Summary
Setup event spaces with tables, chairs, and decorations; greet guests, escort them to seats, and take food and beverage orders into the POS system. Serve plated meals, buffet-style food, or passed hors d'oeuvres while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with responsible service guidelines. Attend to guest needs by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing dietary restrictions, then maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and resetting spaces. Assist event coordinators with timing for speeches or entertainment and process payments for bar tabs or additional items. Follow safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift. This seasonal role runs from September 1 to October 10 with a free season pass for the employee and dependents.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Transportation to and from the mountain during hours the employee shuttle does not run.
- TIPS alcohol service training (online, on-premise course) is REQUIRED
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet or event serving preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
