F&B Assistant Manager-Gilley's

Job Summary
Manage food and beverage operations and teams at Gilley's outlets by recruiting, training, and appraising front-line personnel while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and updated laws. Lead front and back of house restaurant activities, coordinate inventories, and inspect kitchen and bar equipment to maintain sanitation standards. Handle high-volume customer interactions, resolve disputes, and patrol the casino floor to build guest relations and ensure the property remains spotless. Assist in hiring, manage cash handling procedures, and reconcile bank reports. Work required schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have the ability to obtain and retain KRGC Gaming License
- Must have one year of supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting
- Must be proficient in MS Office and other F&B computer applications
- Must display professionalism
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley's Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Must be available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to respond to visual and audible cues
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel and grip items
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours)
- Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Must be able to tolerate areas with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
Desired Qualifications
- One year of direct customer contact experience, preferred
- Previous money handling experience preferred
