Job Summary
F-15 Jet Engine Specialist based in Taif, Saudi Arabia with required extensive F-15 experience in RSAF AFSC 252X0 (including time at the 7 level) and hands-on work on F-100-PW-229 engines. Responsibilities include advising on technical problems, tearing down and rebuilding -229 engines, removing/installing engines in aircraft phases, inspecting engines, ordering parts, documenting maintenance actions, and performing or supervising repair, modification, and testing. OJT for trainees and strong report-writing/communication skills to support operational readiness and resource scheduling are required. Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years F-15 experience in RSAF AFSC 252X0, with at least two (2) years at the -seven (7) level
- Minimum two (2) years experience on F-100-PW-229 engines
- Qualification as an F-100 jet engine mechanic mandatory with F-100-PW-229 experience preferred
- Experience performing or supervising repair, modification, or testing of jet engines is mandatory
- Experience directing inspection, repair, testing or modification of aircraft engines is mandatory
- Proficient in communications to write reports and conduct on-the-job training
- Ability to plan and schedule resources to ensure aircraft availability for operations
