Job Summary
F-15 Jet Engine Mechanic sought in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include advising on technical problems for repair and maintenance of P&W F-100-229 engines, tearing down and rebuilding -229 engines for inspections, removing/installing -229 engines on Phase aircraft, inspecting engines and related equipment, ordering/receiving parts, and documenting all maintenance actions. On-the-job training for assigned trainees. Requires five years of F-15 experience in RSAF AFSC 252X0 (two years at the -7 level), at least two years on F-100-PW-229 engines, and mandatory qualification as an F-100 jet engine mechanic with F-100-PW-229 experience preferred. Must supervise repair, modification, or testing tasks, direct inspection/repair/modification activities, and possess strong report-writing and training skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years F-15 experience in RSAF AFSC 252X0, of which two (2) years must be at the -seven (7) level
- Minimum two years of experience on F-100-PW-229 engines
- Qualification as an F-100 jet engine mechanic is mandatory with F-100-PW-229 experience preferred
- Experience in performing or supervising functions such as repair, modification, or testing of jet engines is mandatory
- Experience in directing functions such as inspection, repair, testing, or modification of aircraft engines is mandatory
- Proficient in communications skills necessary to write reports and conduct on-the-job training
- Skills to plan and schedule assigned resources to ensure aircraft are available to meet operational requirements
