Job Summary
Conduct technical publications writing for USAF F-15 aircraft programs, including designing documents, editing scripts and storyboards, and ensuring technical correctness of drafts. Review instructional soundness of final documents while participating in all phases of project execution from analysis to development. Interpret blueprints and schematics to support technical documentation creation. This role transitions hands-on flightline experience into an office environment for Subject Matter Experts. The position requires a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and involves a 40-hour work week with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years' Flightline and aircraft maintenance experience on the USAF F-15 Aircraft
- Ability to interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics, technical publications
- Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to work independently and ensure performance to deadlines and milestones
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively deliver a complex message, either written or verbal
- Knowledge of the following productivity software is desired: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
- US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card)
