Job Summary
Analyze malfunctions, inspect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot avionic communications, weapons control, navigation, and penetration aids systems at the organizational level. Operate these systems using required test and support equipment while isolating faults to subsystems and components. Supervise organizational-level activities for inertial and radar navigation systems. Perform removal, alignment, installation, bore-sighting, and check-outs of avionic equipment. Train RSAF personnel to skill levels 5 and 7. Maintain technical orders, publications, and training records. Use, repair, and maintain aerospace ground equipment.
Required Qualifications
- USAF 7 Level Avionics Technician or equivalent /F15 Comm/Nav (C Shop)
- USAF/RSAF Equivalent Air Force Special Code: 19775
- Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing performance and isolating malfunctions of integrated avionic communications, navigation, weapons control and penetration aids systems
- Proficient in removal, alignment, installation, bore-sighting and check-outs of avionic communications, navigation, weapons control, and penetration aids systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting avionic communications, navigation, weapons control, and penetration aids systems malfunctions and effecting repair
- Proficient in fault isolation and repair of countermeasure systems
