Eyewear Consultant / Optician

Assist patients in selecting spectacles, providing education on lens choices and frame styling to fit their lifestyle and prescription. Calculate insurance co-pays based on eligibility, enter spectacle orders accurately and monitor status to ensure timely delivery. Notify patients, schedule dispensing, and follow up on adaptation to eyewear and prescribed contacts. Perform spectacle adjustments and repairs, troubleshoot eyewear concerns, and educate patients on care. Maintain inventory for the optical retail area, including lab supplies, and keep displays updated. Monitor patient flow during appointments and communicate delays as needed. Perform other duties as determined by the doctor and practice leadership.
