Job Summary
Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating testing features and benefits, then perform all preliminary and doctor-requested tests. Assist optometrists and ophthalmologists with procedures while coordinating scheduling and monitoring patient flow to manage office delays. Clean instruments, maintain medication and supply inventory, and ensure the exam room is safe, clean, and organized. Provide a welcoming environment for patients and staff while upholding quality standards. No experience required; we offer comprehensive training to support your growth in patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
