Job Summary
Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating testing features and benefits, then perform all preliminary and doctor-requested tests. Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor office flow to communicate delays effectively. Prepare exam rooms by cleaning instruments and maintaining medication and supply inventory. Assist optometrists and ophthalmologists with various procedures while ensuring quality standards and a safe, clean environment. You will work in Kokomo with full training provided; the role includes 6.5 paid holidays, 10 days of PTO in the first year, and benefits covering health, dental, vision, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
