Job Summary
As an Extrusion Technician C - PVC, you will manufacture, visually inspect, and package PVC pipe while adhering to safety and quality standards. Essential responsibilities include keeping work areas clean, operating extruder machines, assisting during changeovers, measuring specifications on pipes, reporting problems, cutting quality control testing samples, and training inexperienced employees. Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent experience, along with mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery and forklifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training is preferred
- Ability to operate extruder machines and control panel
- Ability to operate forklift
- Ability to identify visual defects in pipe
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
- Ability to complete reports
- Ability to calculate figures accurately
