Extrusion Team Lead (8am-8pm 2-2-3 Schedule)

Job Summary
Extrusion Team Lead coordinates, controls and leads the execution of extrusion production processes, ensures safety and quality standards, monitors KPI targets and downtime, analyzes root causes to drive corrective actions, communicates shift information and production planning, trains personnel, updates procedures and manuals, and supports maintenance coordination and data entry in systems (e.g., PeopleSoft). Requires forklift certification, ability to read measurement instruments, and proficiency in Excel/Word; must oversee shift operations, drive practical improvements, and lead new product trials while maintaining housekeeping and safety in the production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Can read, write, and has a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- be able to perform simple math
- Knowledge and ability to modify Excel and Word documents
- Must be able to read and use measurement instruments
- Ability to obtain forklift certification required
