Job Summary
Lead and oversee production operations in the extrusion department, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved. Foster a collaborative and engaged work environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain high visibility and engage employees through hands-on communication and problem-solving; promote a safe work environment; develop a high-performance team with strong engagement; monitor production schedules; ensure product quality through standard work and training; implement lean practices; provide training in 5S, tooling, troubleshooting, and record-keeping; lead recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and development of staff; coordinate shift assignments; complete plant operation paperwork and audits; drive PDCA-based problem-solving and cost-reduction initiatives; support policies and cross-shift communication; ensure safety and KPI achievement; advance career development for associates.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Products and HRIS Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing and motivating teams
- Experience in implementing and monitoring production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols
