Job Summary
Conduct quality measurements and document product standards, validate compliance at set intervals, and stack products per scheduling protocols. Assist the Extrusion Technician in machine set up, troubleshooting, and trial production activities while completing assigned wrapping and banding tasks. Uphold safety practices, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and support the Preventative Maintenance program. Relieve the line technician for breaks and lunch as needed. Available to work overtime and accommodate non-standard shifts including 7am to 3:30pm, 3pm to 11:30pm, and 11pm to 7:30pm. On-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Complete basic math such as adding, dividing, subtracting, percentages, etc.
- Must be able to read a ruler to 1/16"
- Available to work overtime when needed
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Degree of Lifting: 26-50 lbs
