Job Summary
Assist Superintendent in obtaining production goals for efficient operation and quality output within designated departments. Maintain morale and safety for all employees while coordinating manpower with workload. Supervise a workforce of hourly production employees for one shift, ensuring department areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with all regulatory guidelines and union seniority contracts. Prepare shift status reports, personnel reports, and disciplinary actions. This role supports the Superintendent in achieving operational targets while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance across the extrusion press department.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of designated department of operation and functions
- Ability to assist Superintendent in obtaining production goals set by management
- Ability to ensure efficient operation and quality production
- Ability to maintain morale and safety for all employees
- Ability to coordinate manpower with workload within the department
