Assist extrusion press operations as a 1st shift press helper; prepare billet oven and press, follow instructions to support the press team, ensure the machine is in safe working order, transfer metal from press to pullers and onto the cooling table, shear off the billet butt at the end of each extrusion, monitor pounds per hour throughput, verify run-out aligns with finished scrap requirements, and document all orders in the EPICS system.
