Extrusion Operator

Job Summary
Responsible for safe and high quality operation of the Sheet Extrusion line and related process equipment. Follow SOPs/SOCs and system instructions; back-up operator as needed. Complete training to become a Certified Sheet Extrusion Operator within 24 months. Conduct product quality inspections per manufacturing specifications and ERP instructions, focusing on dimensional properties, saw cutting quality, packaging, and overall appearance. Enter operational data into SAP for material accounting and process orders. Actively participate in OEE improvement activities to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, data accuracy, on-time delivery, and new product innovations. Enter work orders for repairs and maintain logs. Uphold 5S, safety, ESP and TPM standards; maintain proficiency/licensing for industrial vehicles; stay current on training profiles. Additional tasks as assigned by Area Manager or Team Leader.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ actual experience in aiding operation of a thermoplastic sheet extrusion line
- Industrial vehicle license
- Data entry and processing skills
- SAP knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Complete training to become a Certified Sheet Extrusion Operator within 24 months
- Knowledge of raw materials specifications, product specifications and customer requirements
- Familiarity with 5S, safety, ESP and TPM standards
- Strong attention to quality and process documentation
- Ability to enter Work Orders and logbook entries
