Job Summary
Extrusion Doffer – Fill Lines & Warp Lines operates extrusion lines, doffs yarn packages, weighs yarn, and uses computers to generate inventory tickets; also doffs tricot beams, transports tricots with powered industrial trucks, and monitors line quality, speeds, and can-watching. Maintains safe, clean work area, follows procedures, and performs related duties such as line setup, starting lines, and coordinating with maintenance as needed. Must be able to read and write for applications, operate powered industrial trucks, and learn job-specific computer skills; PPE and safety requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write in manner indicated on job application.
- Preferred – Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a production environment.
- Must be able to obtain powered industrial truck license.
- Ability to learn job specific computer skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition and subtraction.
