Job Summary
Set up and operate extruder machines to produce plastic products according to specifications, monitoring the extrusion process and making adjustments to ensure quality. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and materials to detect issues, then troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance. Maintain accurate production records and collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety standards. This 4-10 hour Monday through Thursday shift includes options from 7:00am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm to 3:00am. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or similar role in the plastics industry
- Strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
