Job Summary
Operate extrusion lines up to 3" and manage 72-inch winding equipment while controlling precise heat zones and programming digital inkjet systems for product coding. Perform precision testing using calipers to verify diameter, wall thickness, and conductor centering, ensuring 100% traceability by matching spool labels to digital records. Maintain equipment integrity through Lockout/Tagout procedures, preventative maintenance, and daily cleaning, while managing final packaging including cable wrapping and palletizing. Mentor Extrusion Assistants to hit production targets and maintain flawless production logs and technical documentation. Requires basic math skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
