Job Summary
Operate and monitor production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including extruders, weigh and mix raw materials according to formulas, perform quality checks, set and adjust machine operating parameters, and assist with equipment cleaning and partial disassembly/reassembly while maintaining a clean, safe work area and documenting production data. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and comply with PPE and safety procedures; operate mixers, extruders, grinding mills, hoists, and related equipment and use basic mechanical skills with hand tools to support efficient production.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, climb ladders/platforms, and perform physical labor
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Good attendance and reliability required
