Job Summary
Extruder Assistant to support the Lead Operator on a high-speed cable production line. You’ll manage Take-Up machines, ensure proper tension, and verify cable wall thickness with calipers. Program inkjet systems to print safety codes and branding onto cable jackets, and verify that every foot of cable meets specifications, is labeled correctly, and packaged securely. Requires reliable attendance, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting, follow complex directions, and maintain accurate production records. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures. Shift opportunities include multiple swing options at the Blairsville, GA facility with competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
