Job Summary
Design mechanical solutions for sensors in complex fire detection systems, managing the full lifecycle from concept through production to end-of-life. Ensure product reliability using model-based engineering, simulations, and statistical analysis of tolerances and field data. Apply structured analytic skills to solve problems and validate cross-system coherences within an interdisciplinary team. Requires an academic degree in Mechanical Design or Mechatronics, proficiency in CREO and PDMLink, and excellent English skills. This internship offers flexible and hybrid work conditions with access to global colleagues and on-site health resources.
Required Qualifications
- academic degree in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics or related technical field
- excellent English skills
- very good knowledge in mechanical design of plastics
- good experience in usage of CREO and PDMLink or comparable tools
- experience in Dealing with product data in a PDM system (ideally SAP)
- excellent structured analytic skills
- understanding of physical parameters and cross-system coherences
- proactive, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving and quality assurance
- Eagerness to learn
