Extraction Technician

Extraction Technician responsible for processing and extracting topographic and feature data from LiDAR and point cloud datasets (MTLS, UAV, TLS, bathymetric) to produce accurate existing conditions, surfaces, and models. Use MicroStation and TopoDOT to develop deliverables, including topographic maps, 3D models, and digital surfaces, and integrate bathymetric and terrestrial datasets. Maintain CAD standards, ensure data meets specifications, and support multiple projects with strong attention to data quality. Collaborate with surveyors and engineers, with potential for field collection operations and growth into data management and project coordination. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or technical certification preferred) and experience with LiDAR/geospatial data processing; MicroStation experience is required, with knowledge of TopoDOT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or OpenRoads as pluses. Salary $70,000-$85,000 DOE; full benefits and bonus opportunities.
