Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including removing trash and dirty linen, vacuuming hallways and public areas, and restocking the housekeeping cart with supplies and chemicals. Complete all pre-cleaning duties for the cart set-up and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items such as irons and hair dryers, as well as any maintenance repairs, immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to established standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction while maintaining a courteous and service-oriented manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
