Job Summary
External Wholesaler responsible for representing Potomac and distributing products within the Mid-Atlantic territory, traveling to meet financial advisors, collaborating with internal wholesalers to develop business plans, identifying advisor needs through consultative sales, and building strong relationships with internal and external partners while handling CRM, calendar, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have: SIE, Series 7, and either 63 & 65 or 66.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an external wholesaler selling mutual funds, SMAs ETFs or VAs, or 3 years of experience as top internal wholesaler with existing relationships in the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations.
- Self-driven and resourceful able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
