Job Summary
Lead the External Reporting Controller function for FR Y-14Q reporting as a Vice President, coordinating end-to-end timelines, data intake, aggregation, and final submission for assigned Y-14Q schedules; drive governance, control framework, and automation enhancements while partnering with Corporate Finance, Risk, and LOBs. Responsible for ensuring completeness/accuracy, conducting variance analyses, investigating anomalies, and producing quarterly/ad-hoc analytics using Tableau and Excel. Translate regulatory changes into requirements and collaborate with technology/data teams to enhance reporting platforms (FRI, Neutron, Axiom) for improved lineage, controls automation, and submission efficiency. Requires extensive interaction with senior stakeholders and a strong understanding of CCAR regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a financial services or related industry
- Regulatory reporting experience with strong expertise in CCAR reporting
- Strong communications skills, written and verbal – significant interaction with LOBs, risk streams and senior managers
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of financial statements and can effectively analyze how Firm quarterly results impact overall financial performance
- Solid knowledge of regulatory reporting standards and requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
- Strong sense of control and governance
