Job Summary
External Reporting Associate to lead and coordinate FRTB implementation and other regulatory projects, manage timelines, deliverables, and documentation, and communicate progress to management. Role includes oversight of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports with regulatory agencies, contributing to continuous improvement of data quality and reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should have strong finance/project-management skills, advanced Excel, excellent communication, and experience with regulatory reporting and financial statements. Preferred but not required: experience with FRTB, product control, CFA or accounting qualification, exposure to SEC/regulatory filings, and knowledge of data quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in a Finance organization with project management responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong project management skills, including organization, time management, and problem solving
- Advanced Excel and computer skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and project teams
- Experience with regulatory reporting and financial statements
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and support reporting activities
- Knowledge of control procedures and regulatory standards
- Team player with a proactive approach
