Job Summary
External Relations Intern at UNHCR Kuwait for a six-month internship focusing on donor relations, fundraising and communications; responsibilities include drafting routine correspondence and reports, monitoring government developments, supporting high-level missions and government meetings, coordinating strategic dialogues and internal information flow, and contributing to public awareness materials, while ensuring confidentiality and working across UNHCR’s networks in Kuwait.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate or current student
- Fields of study encouraged: media, communications, politics, international relations, development studies, law, business or other relevant disciplines
- Strong verbal and written English and Arabic
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; graphic design preferred)
- Completed at least two years in university or fresh graduate (no more than one year since degree)
