Job Summary
Solicit residential loan applications by calling real estate agents, builders, and business owners to maintain a continuous reference source. Interview applicants, complete loan applications, and work with processing to close loans in a timely manner. Maintain client service by communicating loan terms, following up, and resolving complaints. Evaluate applications for creditworthiness, prepare loan packages per bank standards, and manage the pipeline daily. Keep management apprised of competitive pricing and make product recommendations. Conduct meetings and seminars to cultivate relationships and participate in civic functions for community awareness. Complete all required compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- Three years to five years of similar or related bank lending experience
- Strong selling and sales organization experience
- A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
- Fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge of a specialized field
- Extensive knowledge of the bank's policies and procedures
- General banking knowledge
- Ability to use data, information, and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information
- Technical proficiency with all bank products
- Awareness and interest in new technology
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
