External Affairs Manager

Lobby by researching, analyzing, and advocating for company positions on pending agenda items while meeting with elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders to present information. Serve as FPL's primary community representative in Northwest Florida, attending council meetings, civic forums, and military events to monitor company business cases and build consensus across local governments and organizations. Coordinate FPL representation at county Emergency Operations Centers during storm events and other emergencies, acting as a key liaison with local officials and emergency management partners. Research, compile information, and create networking opportunities by attending and inviting stakeholders to company-sponsored events. Represent corporate leadership to external stakeholders and travel extensively to maintain a visible presence throughout the territory.
