Job Summary
Design or modify vehicle parts within the VINFAST Vehicle institute's Exterior engineering department while implementing best practice engineering methods. Provide technical guidance to top management for strategic decisions and oversee day-to-day business activities, including conducting performance reviews. Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to drive mid to long term business and product plans in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in automotive or related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering)
- Demonstrated agility in operating within matrix organizations and teams
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Highly organized
- Effective communicator and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier
- Motivational skills
- In-depth knowledge of Exterior engineering
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships
- Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach
- Be accountable for delivery and demonstrate strong organizational skills
