Job Summary
Design exterior mirror systems, including housing, actuators, and mounting brackets, while integrating turn signals, cameras, and blind spot detection modules. Optimize aerodynamics for wind noise reduction and validate packaging, sealing, and water management. Lead wiper and washer system development, covering front and rear mechanisms, spray patterns, and sensor integration for ADAS compatibility. Conduct FEA and CFD analysis using CATIA, NX, and SolidWorks to ensure FMVSS and ECE compliance. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and supplier teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for VinFast's EV platform.

- Over a decade of experience specializing in automotive glazing (windshields, sidelites, backlites, sunroofs)
- Experience with wiper/washer systems
- Deep expertise in system-level design
- Material selection expertise
- Safety compliance knowledge (FMVSS, ECE)
- Aerodynamic optimization expertise
- Integration with vehicle electronics and ADAS
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Led glazing system development for a luxury SUV, integrating HUD and solar control glass with frameless door sealing solutions
- Spearheaded the design of a multi-jet washer system with automatic camera lens cleaning for ADAS-equipped EV platform
- Developed a noise-optimized wiper system for a high-speed coupe, achieving reduction in NVH
- Exterior mirror system design (manual, power, electrochromic)
- Mirror housing, carrier, actuator, and mounting bracket design
- Power folding, power adjustment, and heating systems
- Integration of turn signal indicators, puddle lamps, cameras, and blind spot detection (BSD) modules
- Aerodynamic optimization for wind noise and vibration reduction
- Mirror glass selection (flat, convex, aspheric) and field-of-view compliance
- Packaging, sealing, water management, and durability validation
