Exterior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct daily walk-throughs of the property to identify and address exterior cleanliness needs, picking up litter and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping. Empty and replace liners in exterior trash cans, use pressure washer equipment to clean sidewalks and entryways, and perform basic painting and touch-up tasks on surfaces as directed. Report damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor and assist with seasonal tasks like leaf blowing or snow removal. Maintain and store all equipment and supplies in an orderly manner while following safety procedures and using required PPE. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate information clearly with management, employees, tenants, and external contacts
- Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and squat, sit and stand throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to and from the property
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and be on your feet for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in exterior cleaning or property maintenance
- 2-year Tech School Graduate or trade certificate
- Prior exposure to building maintenance or vocational training
- Bilingual
