Job Summary
As an Exterior Engineer at Canoo, you will design and develop exterior components including fascias, claddings, and pillar trims, ensuring high-quality designs that meet system requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members. Proactively communicate design issues and provide feedback to the studio team for A-surface generation that aligns with DFM requirements. You should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in automotive closures, and a strong understanding of electric vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year higher education qualifications (engineering or equivalent)
- 3+ years of hands-on automotive closures experience
- Advanced knowledge of the automotive landscape, particularly EVs
