Job Summary
Exterior Design Intern to support the development of future vehicle concepts. Responsibilities include researching automotive design trends, creating ideation sketches and renderings, developing concept proposals, and turning concepts into 3D digital models and clay models in collaboration with designers, CAS, clay modelers, and engineering partners. Assist in design reviews, presentations, and day-to-day studio activities, working alongside industry professionals in a global automotive OEM environment.
Required Qualifications
- Student currently pursuing a degree in automotive, transportation, product, or industrial design
- Strong understanding of automotive design trends, form development, and visual storytelling
- Strong ideation, sketching, and rendering skills
- Ability to translate ideas from 2D into 3D digital development and clay
- Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Chinese and English language proficiency is a plus
