Job Summary
Conduct daily exterior cleaning and snow removal tasks including sweeping, pressure washing, and maintaining sidewalks, curbs, and green spaces. Remove snow and ice, apply sand or salt, and operate maintenance equipment per the Snow Management Plan. Litter pick parking lots and loading docks, manage trash and cart removal, and check for graffiti or sign damage. Sweep and pressure wash building perimeters and entrances bi-weekly or annually using degreasing agents. Sweep, pressure wash, and weed control sidewalk curbing and islands on a cycle basis. Report low gas or supply levels, check parking lot potholes, and respond immediately to emergency calls or alarms. Assist with customer promotions, display setups, and table arrangements when requested. Maintain safety protocols and complete incident reports and risk management logs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate and maintain housekeeping and supplies
- Ability to safely operate and maintain tractor and snow removal supplies
- Ability to physically perform the duties of the position
- Ability to attend work on a regular, on-going, consistent basis
- Ability to understand and implement all policies and procedures as they relate to the janitorial work to be performed
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
- Must be able to perform all cleaning tasks
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to follow all Health and Safety training provided
