Job Summary
Monitor students in play areas, study times, and Autoline settings to ensure safety and policy adherence. Foster healthy rapport with students by listening to needs, encouraging growth, and modeling positive behavior. Communicate promptly with supervisors, staff, and families while maintaining clerical records for attendance and incidents. Assist with planning indoor and outdoor activities, provide first aid when needed, and escort students to vehicles during dismissal. Complete mandatory orientation, training, and fingerprint background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a fingerprint background check
- Must provide TB clearance
- Must complete all DHS staff requirements for program licensing
- Must be High School graduates
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required for the position, including reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and operating standard office equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate and perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
