Job Summary
Conduct continuous visual supervision of children during indoor activities and outside playground while maintaining accurate roll calls and documenting daily attendance. Implement positive discipline strategies to enforce program rules and administer basic first aid for minor injuries, completing detailed incident reports for administration and parents. Guide students through homework assignments, clarify instructions, and lead structured group activities including cooperative games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises. Provide brief, professional daily updates to parents regarding their child's behavior, achievements, or concerns during pickup and coordinate with school staff to ensure continuity of care. Set up activity stations, distribute healthy snacks, and clean up areas at the end of the day.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1–2 years working with school-aged children in camp, daycare, or school settings
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Must meet all diocesan employment requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework in child development, education, or recreation
