Extended Care Attendant Part-time

Job Summary
Welcome, supervise, and engage children during morning and afternoon extended care sessions, ensuring a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage creativity, physical activity, and social interaction while facilitating safe transportation to designated areas like the gym and playground. Monitor before and after-school bus routes to ensure students safely board and are accounted for, and oversee cafeteria operations during after-school hours. Assist with organizing lost and found items, maintain a clean office and common areas, and support other departments as needed. This role requires varied Monday through Friday hours, with casual status positions working up to 25 hours per week. Candidates must demonstrate a personal commitment to the Christian faith and support for Israel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Documentation verifying current enrollment (for employees still attending high school)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability and responsibility in attendance and performance
- Strong awareness of child safety
- Ability to handle emergencies or behavioral situations with calmness and efficiency
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to adapt to changing needs
