Extended Assignment Travel RN - Operating Room Circulator

Job Summary
Conduct operating room circulator duties, including performing the nursing process, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and providing relationship-based, patient-centered care. Execute direct patient care across the continuum while documenting safely and collaborating within a shared governance model. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, evidence-based protocols, and TJC safety goals. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Requires a BSN, active RN license, and minimum one year of OR circulating experience. Contract involves 36 hours/week during surge season (Oct–March) with no guaranteed hours or benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Travel experience
- 13 week contract
- Bachelors Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional
- Pediatric Adv Life Support or PALS - Instructor or PALS - Provisional
- NIH Stroke Scale within 30 Days
- Certification in a National specialty
- Minimum 1 year of experience circulating in OR
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills along with possessing strong critical thinking skills
- Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Travel contract experience
- 2+ years experience circulating in OR
- Certification in a National specialty
